About this role:

As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe access to our networks.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for accessing power transmission networks.
  • Prepare and authorise network access works packages, coordinate projects, and develop training documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer needs, and operational procedures.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to manage HV transmission outages and maintain effective communication.
  • Participate in staff development programs to enhance skills and competencies.

You'll work in a dynamic team environment based in Brisbane, reporting to the Power System Operations Team Leader. Our team is dedicated to delivering safe and timely access to our network.

Your expertise:

  • Advanced Diploma (AQF6) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification and experience.
  • High Voltage accreditations such as Outage Coordinator, Switching Sheet Writer/Checker and/or Field Switching and Access roles.
  • Knowledge of Safe Access to High Voltage Electrical Apparatus and relevant legislation.
  • Understanding of National Electricity Rules and industry standards.
  • Proven experience working with transmission networks and its elements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
