Utility Asset Management plays a vital role in the industry, providing specialist services to utility and energy organisations, government departments, councils, and major blue-chip Australian companies across Australia. Established in 2000, it has consistently delivered safe and high-quality services.

Due to its continued growth, it is seeking Cert II Asset Inspectors who will deliver asset inspection services on a major distribution and transmission electrical network. Works will be conducted in Southern Queensland, however expressions of interest will be accepted from interstate organisations willing to travel.

**Requirements**

To be considered for the role you would have the following experience and qualifications;

  • Certificate II in Asset Inspection.
  • Experience completing power pole inspections (full inspections).
  • Experience working with distribution and transmission networks or within an electrical construction environment.
  • Pest License (desirable but not essential).

You should also have the ability to operate autonomously and at times alone in regional areas, work in regional areas and away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time, and be proficient in the use of IT systems.

Additionally, you should have experience in face-to-face interactions with the public and consumers, particularly when accessing private land, and hold a valid driver's licence and White Card. A meticulous approach to safety and conformance to technical specifications is also required, as well as basic traffic management accreditation and remote first aid and CPR training.
