Amplitude Consultants is a growing Australian multi-national engineering consultancy offering a range of consulting and engineering services associated with AC power transmission and distribution, HVDC power transmission, renewable energy project connections, high voltage land and submarine cables, power electronics and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS).

As we continue to build our teams into an anticipated successful growth period, we are seeking an experienced Manager for our AC and HVDC team to join our existing Global Support Head Office in Spring Hill, Brisbane. We are open to exploring both the national and international candidate market, with relocation and business sponsorship on offer for the right candidate.

Who are we seeking

Manager in AC and HVDC Transmission with demonstrated experienced in:

  • Business development and pipeline management
  • Technical and consulting engagements
  • Leading from the front with a people first mindset
  • Power transmission and distribution
  • HVDC, FACTS and High Voltage AC Systems
  • Operation and maintenance of high voltage, HVDC and FACTS projects and facilities
  • High voltage installations and equipment
  • Monitoring and managing revenue and utilisation targets
  • Technical, commercial and financial considerations of engineering consultancy
  • Possess strong communication skills, coupled by an approachable work style to support a positive and balanced mentoring relationship with less experienced Engineers
  • Strong understanding in electrical engineering and high voltage elements of transmission and distribution, HVDC and FACTs, solar, renewable energy, battery storage, micro grid and "hybrid" network projects
  • Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience with project management and delivery of successful outcomes
  • Hold or have the ability to attain local Professional Registrations/ Certification
