Renewable Energy Transmission Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Power Sector expert to drive the transition towards a cleaner and greener world.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth in Australia by providing technical due diligence for developers, investors, and owners of renewable energy, storage, and power network infrastructure.
- Provide expert technical guidance on transmission networks, including grid connections, in projects.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- University and master's degree in energy economics / economic regulation, electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar.
- Significant experience in lead generation and business development, with a strong track record establishing lasting relationships with private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities in Australia.
- Specific experience carrying out and overseeing transmission planning studies, including steady-state and dynamic stability studies.
- Excellent understanding of Australian and global power networks and power systems, power sector regulation, electricity markets.
Desirable But Not Essential
- Experience using DigSilent, PSS/E, and/or Powerworld or equivalent.
- Experience with transmission-level concept design.
