About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our General Insurance products within the Commercial Division. As the Head of Car and Home Insurance, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic performance of our Car and Home Insurance businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategic direction for our insurance products, aligning them with business goals, customer needs, and market demands.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive initiatives, resolve technical challenges, and present updates to the Board and Senior Management.
  • Develop strong relationships with partners to enhance sales performance and customer satisfaction, implementing partner-centric solutions to overcome business challenges.
  • Oversee daily operations and financial outcomes, managing P&L, cost margins, and compliance to meet performance targets.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to optimise processes and resolve any compliance incidents.
  • Partner with marketing teams to drive lead volumes, optimise customer segmentation, and support growth initiatives.
  • Utilise data and insights to monitor campaign performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead and develop your team, fostering a culture of innovation, high performance, and commitment to Compare the Market's values.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in the General Insurance industry.
  • A background in Digital B2C businesses, with a track record of success.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capability to influence others and drive initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
  • Expertise in problem-solving and a proactive approach to challenges.
