About the Role
The Disability Support Worker role is a vital position within our organisation, where you will work closely with clients who reside in accommodations provided by us. You will develop rapport and form meaningful professional relationships with multiple clients.
Provide assistance with daily living activities such as toileting, showering, dressing, cooking and cleaning.
Offer individual support to clients with psychosocial requirements.
Accompany clients on social outings, shopping trips and appointments.
Liaise with families and representatives of clients as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Proof of working rights - Passport or visa.
- Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
- WA Working with Children Check.
- Previous experience as a support worker in the health/disability sector or a relevant Cert III qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
