Network Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Technical Delivery team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and operating large-scale multiprotocol global IP/ISP networks, aligned with data centre technologies.

  • Provide technical leadership and end-to-end process ownership for network infrastructure changes across our backbone and data centre infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the design input, validation and approval of new architectural and strategic requirements, collaborating with Global Engineering teams as required.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from project completion to operational support, including creation and modification of detailed technical documentation.
  • Assist with team management and administration and assume line-management responsibility as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of network infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Identify and resolve complex network issues through analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support network operations.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in a relevant technical subject, such as Computer Science or Telecommunications.
  • Have 10+ years of experience in designing and operating large-scale multiprotocol networks.
  • Possess excellent English language skills.
  • Be certified in applicable Cisco, Juniper and Fortinet technologies.
  • Hold ITIL Foundations Certification, additional modules preferred.
