About the Role

As a QA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality within our client's manufacturing processes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a substantial player in the FMCG industry, with over 2000 employees and a strong national presence.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a QA management role, excellent knowledge of quality assurance standards and regulations, and strong leadership and team management skills. A key aspect of this position is implementing and maintaining QA systems and processes, conducting regular audits and inspections, managing customer complaints, and providing training and support to staff on quality assurance matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of QA Officers, including a supervisor and team leader
  • Implement and maintain QA systems and processes
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections
  • Manage customer complaints and conduct RCA and investigations
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance matters
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain industry qualifications, including ISO9001, HACCAP, and SQF
  • Drive CI initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a QA management role within the FMCG industry
  • Excellent knowledge of quality assurance standards and regulations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Nimble with the ability to change direction depending on the day
  • Preferred but not essential is experience in the meat industry
