We are seeking an Anti-Ship Threat Countermeasure Researcher to join our team at the core of our countermeasure research program.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will integrate years of R&D in the Nulka rocket and unmanned vehicles with emerging ideas in machine learning and autonomous RF systems based on models and real-world data sets as well as working with experts in Radio Frequency (RF) systems.
About Our Team:
We undertake research and development focused on identifying, analysing and countering threats to Australia's Defence and national security through electronic means. Electronic Warfare Operations branch conceives, develops and validates EW technologies and techniques to enhance the survivability and mission assurance of the ADF.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess a strong mathematical and problem solving background
- Demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Have experience or aptitude in programming and data analysis using Matlab, Python or C/C++
- Be proficient in deep learning/machine learning, guidance and control, electro-magnetism, signal processing, experimental design, or radio frequency measurement equipment
