About This Role

Application Architects play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape within an organisation, designing and implementing application environments that seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure. Their focus on harmonious interaction between applications aims to enhance the overall business experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on solution design to ensure a cohesive integration of infrastructure with application workflow, resulting in an intuitive and engaging user experience.
  • Draft business requirements into technical specifications by consulting with stakeholders to define business services for application access using Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI).
  • Proactively monitor, test and support end-user applications, perform performance tuning using various monitoring tools to ensure optimal configuration and performance.
  • Lead the development of solution architectures, validate implementations directly with business users, infrastructure teams and functional areas.
  • Identify potential risks arising from technical solution architectures and suggest alternate solutions or countermeasures to mitigate these risks.
