About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as a Principal Accounting Policy. This is a critical role that requires someone with a strong command of IFRS and the ability to translate complex accounting standards into actionable advice.

As a Principal Accounting Policy, you will be responsible for crafting, developing, and updating accounting policies in response to evolving regulations and business needs. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the company, including teams in Finance, Legal, and Sustainability, as well as external auditors and regulators.

This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity based in either of our Perth / Brisbane / Adelaide offices. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of IFRS and external reporting requirements, as well as superior communication, facilitation, influencing and interpersonal skills.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled accounting professional with 8-10+ years significant financial experience. You should have experience of working in the accounting policy / technical team in a large accounting professional services firm, providing technical advice to both audit teams and external clients.

You should have a Bachelor of Commerce, Management, Finance or Accounting degree and professional accounting designation - both required. CA / CPA qualified with experience within a large, complex and global organisation is a plus.
