About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as a Principal Accounting Policy. This is a critical role that requires someone with a strong command of IFRS and the ability to translate complex accounting standards into actionable advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-depth accounting advice on intricate and challenging financial matters
  • Craft, develop, and update accounting policies in response to evolving regulations and business needs
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the company, including teams in Finance, Legal, and Sustainability, as well as external auditors and regulators
  • Play a pivotal part in maintaining the integrity of the company's financial reporting processes
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled accounting professional with 8-10+ years of significant financial experience. You should have experience of working in the accounting policy/technical team in a large accounting professional services firm, providing technical advice to both audit teams and external clients. You should also have superior communication, facilitation, influencing, and interpersonal skills, essential to building constructive relationships and credibility with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Bachelor of Commerce, Management, Finance, or Accounting degree and professional accounting designation - both required. CA/CPA qualified with experience within a large, complex, and global organization. Strong understanding of IFRS and external reporting requirements.
