
Senior Renewable Energy Assessment Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional to contribute to the assessment and regulation of high-profile renewable energy projects in NSW.
This dynamic role will involve assessing the merits of various State significant energy projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and preparing well-written reports and documentation.
- Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality, efficient, and timely assessment advice, ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and government policies.
- Additionally, you will develop strong relationships with external agencies and the community, managing competing interests while achieving desired outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in environmental science, management, planning, law, or engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an easy-to-understand format.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in navigating complex challenges.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant environmental assessment and planning legislation and processes.
