This pivotal role provides clinical oversight, operational management and leadership to ensure quality, compliant services across NDIS and Home Care Packages.
Key responsibilities include overseeing complex client care plans, ensuring Community Support Professionals are trained and assessed in advanced clinical skills, and upholding the highest standards of care, compliance and professionalism.
As a Clinical Governance Specialist, you will provide clinical leadership, deliver training and coaching, and manage incident and risk processes. You will also assess and support customers living with dementia or cognitive impairment, conduct falls risk assessments and implement prevention strategies.
The successful candidate will have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, evidence of continued professional development, and minimum 3 years' experience in aged care or community care. They will also have proven leadership skills, strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation, and experience in complex clinical assessments and care planning.
