We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to support regulatory oversight across Australia and New Zealand.

Job Description

The successful candidate will manage and maintain the Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL), ensuring all procedures and processes align with regulatory expectations. They will act as the main point of contact for ASIC, providing trusted compliance advice across teams relating to the AFSL and Corporations Act. Additionally, they will lead horizon scanning and regulatory change management, ensuring timely communication and implementation of updates.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL)
  • Act as the main point of contact for ASIC
  • Provide trusted compliance advice across teams relating to the AFSL and Corporations Act
  • Lead horizon scanning and regulatory change management
  • Enhance the regulatory compliance framework
  • Oversee breach reporting processes
  • Manage complaint handling processes in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Design and deliver targeted compliance training informed by risk assessments
  • Prepare clear and concise reporting and insights for the Risk Committee and Board

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong background in regulatory compliance within financial services, ideally in payments or remittance
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory obligations under ASIC and APRA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A hands-on, pragmatic mindset with the ability to find workable solutions and drive continuous improvement
