About the Job

As a part-time Maintenance Officer at Oaks Melbourne on Collins Hotel, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas, as well as carrying out repairs within the property. The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on building maintenance experience, a passion for delivering exceptional service, strong time management skills, an excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised, and excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the presentation of guest rooms and public areas
  • Carry out repairs within the property
  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Strong time management skills
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
