About Our Tax and Business Services Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a strong client portfolio and be part of a collaborative and supportive work environment.

  • We are seeking an experienced and driven Tax & Business Services Manager to join our team.

The role involves delivering high-quality outcomes for clients, managing and growing a portfolio, and supporting the development of junior team members.

  • You will play a pivotal role in reporting to the Directors and contributing to business improvement initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering accurate, high-quality client outcomes within agreed timeframes
  2. Building strong client relationships and managing expectations effectively
  3. Growing your portfolio and fee base through excellent client service and business development activities
  4. Ensuring compliance with QA policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
  5. Contributing to business improvement projects and initiatives
  6. Mentoring and reviewing the work of staff, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  7. Managing WIP and billings to achieve office targets
  8. Monitoring personal performance against financial KPIs
About You
  • You must be a member of CA, CPA, or equivalent professional body
  • Have a minimum of five years' full-time experience in a similar role
  • Have broad knowledge of accounting and general financial management principles
  • Be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Have advanced numeracy skills with attention to detail
  • Be able to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work
