Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scaffold structures using CAD software tailored to refinery conditions.
  • Develop detailed work packs including scaffold drawings and layout plans, material take-offs and load calculations, assembly and dismantling instructions, and safety and compliance documentation.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and site layouts to create scaffold solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and teams for safe and practical implementation.
  • Support scaffold erection and dismantling phases with technical guidance.
  • Conduct site visits to assess conditions and validate design feasibility.

About You:

  • Hold Full Australian Working Rights.
  • Possess a Construction White Card.
  • Have a recognised and relevant trade or tertiary qualification.
  • Prove experience in scaffold design in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industry sectors.
  • Have experience with Rope Access or working at heights (advantageous).
  • Hold a Scaffold ticket or trade background in scaffolding.
  • Possess strong knowledge of scaffold systems.
  • Be proficient in CAD and scaffold design software.
  • Familiarity with refinery safety protocols and confined space access.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and compliant work packs.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
