Structural Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Expert to join our team. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for performing structural design calculations to support brownfield mining and mineral processing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform structural analysis and design using SpaceGass and Strand 7.
  • Develop and review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
  • Evaluate designs against relevant Australian Standards and mining industry safety regulations.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on key iron ore projects in Perth CBD office-based contract role initially for 3 months.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in mining and mineral processing projects.
  • Proficient in SpaceGass and Strand 7 software.
  • Strong materials handling background.
  • Strong understanding of structural design principles and materials (steel and concrete).
  • Able to review the work of other structural engineers.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
