Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our collaborative team in an entry-level role at a leading global retailer's head office.


The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing domestic and international purchase orders, reviewing inventory across all warehouses and e-Commerce sites, and planning and forecasting sales plans and open-to-buy across multiple categories.


The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task with strong organization and problem-solving skills.



Job Duties / Essential Functions
  • Raise and manage purchase orders
  • Review inventory levels and update item and supplier records as needed
  • Plan and forecast sales plans and open-to-buy across multiple categories
  • Coordinate marketing promotions with the Marketing and e-Commerce teams
  • Assist Buyers and Assistant Buyers with merchandise projects


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Marketing, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Communications, or International Business


Knowledge/Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
