Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Coordinator to manage the receipt, storage, and shipment of merchandise in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming merchandise for damage or discrepancies
  • Organize and maintain accurate inventory records using a database system
  • Process and ship orders in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to inventory management
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless operations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field
  • Certification in inventory management or a related field
  • Experience with inventory management systems and software
