About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Development Specialist to join our International Engagement and Foreign Military Sales Branch. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to strengthen our alliances and partnerships with international acquisition and sustainment partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to deepen relationships with international partners;
  • Identify best-practice solutions for addressing partner requirements;
  • Work closely with stakeholders to leverage extant and latent Australian proficiency and capacity;
  • Represent CASG and Defence at senior levels;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong leadership credentials and experience in project management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong understanding of Defence capability delivery and asset management;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write and interpret policy and applicable legislation;
