Nuclear Operations Specialist Role

Responsibilities:

  • Performance analysis of reactors with recommendation for optimization.

  • Troubleshooting reactor system technical issues and proposing solutions.
  • Maintenance team coordination for inspection and repair scheduling.
  • Nuclear Safety Training and emergency protocol instruction to plant personnel.
  • Risk assessment and mitigation strategy implementation.
  • Nuclear industry advancements and regulatory updates tracking.

Qualifications:

  • 9 years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree in related field; 7 years with Master's degree; 4 years with PhD or Juris Doctorate; or High School Diploma with 13 years of relevant experience.
  • 8+ years in nuclear operations, reactor engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear reactor systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to analyze reactor performance data.
  • Effective troubleshooting and resolution of operational issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., NRC, DOE).
