Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Canberra, providing locally-tailored, high-quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.

We are seeking an Administration Officer to play a vital role in supporting our team at headspace Canberra. This position involves creating a welcoming environment for young people and ensuring smooth operations to enhance our services.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service that creates a positive experience for young people as they arrive for appointments. Your day-to-day tasks will include utilizing electronic medical records to support client journeys, responding to phone inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure a seamless experience.

You will report to the Centre Coordinator, who reports to the Service Manager. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity available until 30 June 2026, with the potential for extension based on continued funding. Full-time employees have the option to enjoy a Rostered Day Off each month.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. As a representative of Grand Pacific Health, you will also have access to salary packaging options, additional leave over end-of-year shutdown, and company-paid parental leave.

We are looking for someone with relevant training and experience in administration in a fast-paced environment. You should have sound knowledge of Windows and MS Office applications and be able to learn new IT systems and clinical systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as exceptional customer service skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and plan workload to ensure deadlines are met is also required.
