Job Title: Property Administrator (Lease Manager)

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Property Administrator to join our team as a Lease Manager. This is a key role within our legal and asset management team, responsible for drafting contracts, managing lease negotiations, and acting as the liaison between internal stakeholders, leasing agents, and external lawyers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and reviewing retail and industrial lease agreements, including letters of offer, disclosure statements, and Agreements for Lease.
  • Liaising with asset managers, leasing agents, and external counsel to drive timely and accurate lease execution.
  • Managing and maintaining a portfolio of over 150 leases, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Conducting due diligence and preparing documentation for lease renewals, subleases, and variations.
  • Tracking changes to AFLs and providing commercial input on contractual clauses.
  • Supporting the asset management team with day-to-day legal administration and correspondence.

About You :
  • We are looking for a skilled professional with 3+ years' experience in property administration or a similar role, preferably in commercial property.
  • You should have strong knowledge of the Retail Leases Act and commercial lease processes.
  • You will be skilled in drafting letters of offer, disclosure statements, and lease agreements.
  • You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
