About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing the day-to-day operations of the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre. As an Aquatic Operations Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the aquatic component of the Centre, providing exceptional customer service, and working collaboratively with a passionate team to deliver high-quality services to the community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the aquatic component of the Centre, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality services, including pool operations, customer service, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure the Centre is maintained in a safe and clean environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- WA Pool Operations Competency Certificate or equivalent.
- Leisure Institute of WA Aquatics Accreditation and Current Membership.
- Minimum of three years previous experience in a similar position.
- Current Royal Life Saving Society Pool Lifeguard Award.
- Provide First Aid Certificate.
- National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old).
- Current Working with Children Clearance.
- Knowledge of all legislation and regulations for the operation of an Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Western Australia.
- Previous experience in the supervision and development of staff.
- Previous experience of Recreation Industry particularly with current trends, programs and initiatives relevant to operating Aquatic Recreation Centre.
