Job Summary

The City of Mandurah is seeking an experienced Recreation Centres Technical Operations Officer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our recreation centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the centres' programmed and scheduled maintenance is completed in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
  • Ensure that the recreation centres are compliant with all regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate the operational impacts of the maintenance schedule and any unplanned works, acting as the conduit between centre management and maintenance services.
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years previous experience in a similar position or aquatics industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in asset maintenance in an aquatic recreation environment.
  • Ability to train staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent public relations and customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent asset maintenance knowledge and understanding.
