Data Center Security Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physical Security Specialist to join our team at Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd. As a Physical Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing security systems for our data centers globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer security systems for data center basis of design (BOD) projects.
- Supervise and approve all designs deliverables developed by the architect/engineer of record.
- Coordinate with all the other disciplines in the design process.
- Use Blue Beam and other drafting technologies to work in collaboration with the design teams.
- Manage scope with internal design teams for modeling and drafting.
- Collaborate with security teams as a subject matter expert for optimization of security technologies and practices.
- Evaluate, coordinate, and drive BOD change management issues to resolution.

Our Security Solutions team provides engineering expertise and design support for security devices and solutions in data centers globally. We own and support security products throughout their lifecycle. Our scope also includes emergent global scale remediation strategic efforts that impact Data Center Security and introducing and driving business improvement initiatives increasing visibility and enabling data driven decision making.

Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, or Physical Security or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years' experience in physical security system design and engineering.
- 5+ years' experience with one or more drafting technologies such as, REVIT, AutoCad, BlueBeam and others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in related field.
- Physical Security Design experience in corrections, military, government, or large corporate environments.
- Experience living abroad, extensive travel, or demonstrated ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
