Data Center Electrical Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Electrical Field Engineer to join our team at Amazon Corporate Services Pty Ltd. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support to our data centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform design and equipment submittal review for security products in our data centers.
- Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures.
- Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training, complex operating procedure reviews, including critical equipment and event support.
- Review designs for existing products, which improve security/efficiency.
- Interface with internal design engineering teams, server hardware teams, and environmental health and safety teams to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered.
- Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
- Initiate and lead security site audits within Amazon's data centers. Produce reports outlining risks with recommended mitigations and remediation's.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 3+ cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil/gas facilities, SKIFs.
- Professional certificates including, but not limited to: CCIE, CCNP, CCNA, JNCIE, CompTIA Network+, or similar.
- Strong background with large scale integrated security systems including cameras, access controls, and PIDs.
- Experience troubleshooting networking and communications issues (such as, TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols).
- Demonstrated judgement in assessing and prioritizing technical risk and developing root cause analyses.
- A data-driven and quantitative mentality; an ability to support ideas with evidence.
- Organized and have the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines and budget.
- Demonstrable teamwork skills and resourcefulness; strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive; sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills.
