Urban Development Specialist
">We are seeking a skilled Urban Development Specialist to join our team in Sydney. This role offers the opportunity to deliver impactful projects and advance your career in a supportive and collaborative environment.
">- Develop project plans and oversee design coordination with architects, landscape architects, and engineers.
- Coordinate technical reviews and internal quality assurance processes.
- Take on project management duties, including bid support and leadership responsibilities.
- Set department goals and develop actionable implementation plans.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Design and drafting program oversight
- Civil design expertise, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities
- Project budgeting and fee proposal preparation
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or relevant field
- Chartered Engineer status with NER accreditation
- 15+ years' experience in civil design for buildings, urban development, land development, or brownfield projects
- Strong technical expertise in civil design, knowledge of Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes
- Understanding of brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management
- Proficient in civil design software, including AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project
- Experience in QA processes and design reviews
