Urban Development Project Manager

This role is for an experienced Urban Development Project Manager who can oversee and manage urban development projects with a focus on industrial urban regeneration, residential greenfield, roads, public infrastructure and water projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the construction services team in the execution of urban development projects.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and standards are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the team, resolving any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading large-scale urban development projects and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in civil engineering. They will also possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills and report writing skills, as well as proficiency in project management software and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering, architecture or urban planning, and at least 5 years of experience in urban development project management.

They will have excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate and execute complex projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
