The IT Vendor Lead - Program will develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including D&TG program managers, IT Vendor Manager – Operations, architecture, Procurement and Legal teams, as well as key vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing service level agreements (SLAs) and pricing with vendors.
  • Implementing vendor management strategies to optimize program delivery in partnership with Procurement and Legal teams.
  • Delivering and managing portfolio and program level strategic procurement plans.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for all program vendor-related activities, performance issues, concerns, and new requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities for vendor-related cost savings and process improvements.
  • Facilitating regular communication and meetings with vendors to discuss performance, upcoming projects, and potential issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, monitoring and managing vendor performance against SLAs and Key Performance Indicators, and addressing any issues.
  • Establishing and tracking performance metrics to evaluate vendor performance and conducting regular performance reviews and audits of vendors.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on vendor performance as required.
  • Identifying and mitigating vendor-related risks associated with vendor relationships.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to address potential vendor-related disruptions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, preferably in an IT or program management environment.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with IT services products and market trends.
  • Proficiency in using vendor management software and tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of ITIL/SIAM and other relevant ITSM frameworks is desired.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of program management methodologies and frameworks is desired.
