About the Role

News Corp Australia is seeking a highly skilled Head of Content and Strategy to join their growing team on a part-time basis (4 days per week).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial content solutions across print, digital, social, and video for Coles.
  • Lead a team of high-performing and highly skilled creatives to deliver high-quality content.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Strategy and Head of Partnerships to align and streamline projects and processes.
  • Ensure all content created is future-focused, fit for channel, and delivers on creative excellence.
  • Build and manage key client relationships to ensure stakeholders are informed and satisfied.
  • Develop multi-channel content strategies that deliver on brief and budget.
  • Drive ideation and delivery of concepts across all channels.
  • Drive a culture of innovation and creativity.
  • Assist the strategy team throughout the proposal response process.
  • Work comfortably with commercial partners to ensure all commitments and objectives are met.
  • Manage editorial budgets and costs.
  • Stay across global trends and production styles.
  • Drive operational and production efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience in content creation across varied platforms and formats.
  • Deep experience working in the food category.
  • Proven experience managing senior teams with diverse skillsets.
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.
  • Ability to work well with others who have complementary skillsets.
  • Comfortable managing concurrent deadlines and campaigns.
