Our esteemed culinary team seeks a seasoned Executive Chef to spearhead kitchen operations at a distinguished à la carte restaurant.
Job Summary:This exceptional opportunity is ideal for an accomplished chef with a proven track record in high-pressure, fast-paced environments. As our new Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating exquisite dining experiences that exceed our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of excellence within the kitchen by mentoring and guiding junior staff
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to design innovative menus that showcase your culinary expertise
- Maintain impeccable food safety standards and ensure compliance with all relevant policies
- Oversee stock management, including ordering, rotation, and inventory control
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a senior chef in a fine dining establishment or similar setting
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety protocols and OH&S guidelines
- Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, including menu planning and cost control
