Senior Financial Claims Manager


About the Role

This is a senior role that involves managing complex financial claims to deliver exceptional outcomes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial lines claims and be able to provide specialist technical advice to colleagues.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of financial claims end to end.
  • Provide technical guidance on policy coverage, liability, quantum, strategy, and reserving.
  • Appoint and manage external service providers.
  • Maintain accurate claim reserves in accordance with guidelines.
  • Develop underwriters' and claims managers' knowledge through feedback and industry research.
  • Contribute to team development by providing superior claims service to our target market.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in financial lines or professional indemnity claims.
  • Prior experience mentoring colleagues in technical roles.
  • Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance would be highly regarded.
