About the Role

This position provides specialist support to Community Development Program participants who have secured employment. The goal is to improve employment retention, boost confidence, and create positive experiences for both employees and employers.

This role works closely with CDP participants and their employers to identify barriers that may impact employment and address them promptly. By bridging skill gaps and collaborating with job seekers, employers, and CDP site staff, the aim is to ensure job seekers' long-term employment success.

Responsibilities

  • Offer post-placement support to CDP participants, including mentoring and guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with CDP participants, employers, and CDP team members to guarantee all duties and responsibilities are met.
  • Verify wage subsidy evidence, calculate instalment payments, monitor claims, and report concerns to the manager.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling rapport-building and sustained working relationships.
  • Able to work towards key performance indicators (KPIs).
