Job Opportunity

We're seeking a dedicated and skilled Ranger to join our team. As a Ranger, you will play a vital role in enforcing local laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce local laws and regulations related to animals, litter, and bushfire control.
  • Work collaboratively with Information and Parking officers to achieve common goals.
  • Conduct dog and cat management activities, including dog attack investigations and issuing infringements.
  • Support the community by providing excellent customer service and resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.

Requirements:

  • Completion of or progression towards Regulatory Officer Compliance Skills (ROCS) 1 and 2.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Intermediate technology and computer literacy.
  • Current 'C' class driver's license and National Police Certificate.
