This will deliver one airport for the people of Western Australia, hosting all flight services in a central location for a seamless, world-class travel experience.Our team is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Wildlife Specialist.What you'll do:As a Wildlife Specialist, you'll manage wildlife hazard activities by developing and implementing the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan.
You'll conduct risk-based inspections, engage with Airfield Operations Officers for training, and respond to wildlife strikes.
You'll also coordinate with Air Traffic Control, maintain accurate wildlife data, and prepare reports.
Your role involves significant outdoor work and collaboration with various stakeholders to mitigate wildlife risks.About you:We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:Tertiary qualification in Ornithology, Zoology, or other related field.Prior knowledge and experience in applying CASA/ICAO regulatory requirements for wildlife hazard management is desirable.2-3 years of experience in a related or similar field is highly desirable.High level of proficiency in computer skills and ability to adopt new technology initiatives.Effective oral and written communication skills in a high-pressure environment.About Us:We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities, and a modern approach to work/life integration.
