Wildlife Hazard Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Wildlife Hazard Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Wildlife Hazard Management Plan
  • Conduct risk-based inspections to identify potential wildlife hazards
  • Collaborate with Airfield Operations Officers for training and response to wildlife strikes
  • Maintain accurate wildlife data and prepare reports

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Ornithology, Zoology or related field
  • Prior knowledge and experience in applying CASA/ICAO regulatory requirements for wildlife hazard management (desirable)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a related or similar field (highly desirable)
  • High level of proficiency in computer skills and ability to adopt new technology initiatives
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in a high-pressure environment
