Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Winemaker to join our team. As an integral member of our winemaking operations, you will be responsible for executing cellar operations and production plans to specification.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role that will involve executing all cellar operations, including fermentation monitoring, additions, barrel work, transfers, and bottling preparation. You will also ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hygiene protocols across all winemaking tasks.

In addition, you will act as the on-site lead in the absence of the Winemaker or Director of Wine, coordinating cellar staff and maintaining workflow continuity. You will support the Winemaker in the execution of trials, blend preparations, and sensory evaluations, contributing technical input and tasting feedback.
