Mental Health and Employment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our WISE IDEA team as an Employment and Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering evidence-based interventions that support individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to support individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals.
- Collaborate with other services, including internal WISE teams and external partner organizations, to provide comprehensive support to individuals.
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized plans to support individuals in achieving their vocational goals.
- Provide training and support to staff in different service settings to build their capacity to provide effective support to individuals.
- Source, adapt, and develop vocational, cognitive, and communication skills materials to be used within programs.
- Promote the work of WISE IDEA through network meetings, conference presentations, and other venues.
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Full Australian driver's license.
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
- Ability to pass a Working with Children Check.
