About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our WISE IDEA team as an Employment and Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering evidence-based interventions that support individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to support individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals.
  • Collaborate with other services, including internal WISE teams and external partner organizations, to provide comprehensive support to individuals.
  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized plans to support individuals in achieving their vocational goals.
  • Provide training and support to staff in different service settings to build their capacity to provide effective support to individuals.
  • Source, adapt, and develop vocational, cognitive, and communication skills materials to be used within programs.
  • Promote the work of WISE IDEA through network meetings, conference presentations, and other venues.
Requirements
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Full Australian driver's license.
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
  • Ability to pass a Working with Children Check.
