About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our WISE IDEA team as an Employment and Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering evidence-based interventions to assist individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to support individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals
  • Collaborate with support workers, carers, and families to provide effective support and guidance
  • Work with employers to provide accessible workplaces and promote employment opportunities
  • Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized plans to support participants
  • Participate in feasibility testing, project planning, and evaluation of interventions
  • Build capability of staff in different service settings through training and coaching
  • Promote the work of WISE IDEA through network meetings, conference presentations, and other venues
Requirements
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Full Australian driver's license
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
