We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our WISE IDEA team as an Employment and Mental Health Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering evidence-based interventions to assist individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to support individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals
- Collaborate with support workers, carers, and families to provide effective support and guidance
- Work with employers to provide accessible workplaces and promote employment opportunities
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized plans to support participants
- Participate in feasibility testing, project planning, and evaluation of interventions
- Build capability of staff in different service settings through training and coaching
- Promote the work of WISE IDEA through network meetings, conference presentations, and other venues
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Full Australian working rights
- Full Australian driver's license
- Ability to pass a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
