About the role

This permanent full-time position as Treasury Manager - Cash and Investment Expert at our St Leonards office (with flexible work-from-home options) requires a seasoned professional to oversee HammondCare's treasury function, ensuring optimal cash management and investment returns.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Optimising cash accounts, term deposits, and managed funds to achieve the best possible returns.
  • Managing loan drawdowns and repayments in line with bank facilities.
  • Nurturing strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash flow monitoring and forecasting, including investment portfolios.
  • Preparing bank covenant reports as required by banks.
  • Creating comprehensive Treasury reports for senior stakeholders, highlighting performance and compliance with Reserves, Investment, and Liquidity Policy.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Developing formal cash flow forecasts within the planning cycle.
  • Journals and reconciliations related to the Treasury function.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly Business Activity Statements.

About You

  • A commitment to aligning with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action.
  • CPA or CA qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar corporate role.
  • A stakeholder-focused approach with exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and computer skills, with an advantage if you have exposure to SUN and Epicor systems.
  • An understanding of the Aged Care Sector is beneficial.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Empathy and patience.
