Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable ETL processes using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) to support business objectives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with property and casualty insurance domain needs.

• Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data is accurately and efficiently processed for business intelligence and analytics purposes.

• Ensure seamless integration of data from multiple sources, maintaining data quality and consistency. This involves working with different data formats and structures.

• Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability, tuning data transformations and load processes to handle large volumes of data efficiently.

• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business requirements.

• Document ETL processes, data flows, and system architecture, maintaining clear and comprehensive documentation for future reference and troubleshooting.

• Provide support for ETL processes, including troubleshooting issues and implementing fixes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the ETL lifecycle.

• Lead ETL projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

• Ensure that ETL processes comply with data governance and security policies, implementing measures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

• Engage with stakeholders to communicate technical solutions and their impact on business outcomes.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data technologies and insurance industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data architecture and engineering within the organization.

• Support the hybrid work model by effectively managing tasks and communication in both remote and in-office settings.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in using Pentaho tools for designing, developing, and managing ETL processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Proven track record of designing and implementing data architectures that drive business value.

• Ability to optimize data processes and ensure data quality and integrity.
