Lead Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Healthcare Professional to oversee the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aged care, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Main responsibilities include ensuring the delivery of compassionate and competent care to residents, addressing their specific medical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
  • Oversight of the development and implementation of individual care plans for each resident, considering their unique health requirements and preferences.
  • Ensure proper administration and management of medications for residents, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols.
  • Effective communication with residents' families or legal guardians, providing updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
  • Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA Registration.
  • ICL Qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse.
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC.
  • Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation.
  • Capability to effectively lead and manage a team.
