Provide exceptional care to residents as a Nursing Unit Leader, overseeing the delivery of high-quality and person-centered care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care Delivery: Ensure the effective administration of medical, physical, and emotional care to residents, addressing their unique needs and preferences.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers, and support staff, fostering a positive work culture and promoting collaboration.
  • Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident, considering their health requirements and goals, and ensuring seamless transitions between care teams.
  • Medication Administration: Safely manage medication administration, adhering to prescribed schedules and protocols, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Family Engagement: Communicate effectively with residents' families or legal guardians, providing regular updates on their loved one's condition and involving them in care decisions when appropriate.
Requirements:
  • A current AHPRA registration
  • An ICL qualification
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience with ANNAC
  • Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • An outstanding proficiency in care planning, goal setting, and evaluation documentation
  • Capability to effectively lead and manage a team
