
Parental Support Advocate

The Max Solutions program is a government initiative designed to assist eligible parents in preparing for employment and education. As a ParentsNext Consultant, you will work with disadvantaged parents to develop a personalized pathway plan, linking them to local services and activities that support their goals and overcome barriers to employment.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with parents to identify individual education and employment goals
- Provide career advice and labour market information on local employment and education opportunities
- Engage with the local community to build relationships and coordinate referrals to community agencies
- Assist customers in applying for jobs, developing CVs, and preparing for interviews
About You:
- Ability to build strong relationships within the community
- High level of interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to customer service and diversity and inclusion principles
- Hold or have the ability to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People or Children Check
