A dynamic opportunity has emerged for a seasoned professional to lead our asset management function, driving portfolio performance and value creation. As the Head of Asset Management, you will be responsible for establishing and evolving the asset management function, overseeing sector-specific leads, and developing high-performing teams.

This strategic leadership role focuses on setting direction, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. With oversight of the function and a high-performing growing team, you will develop and execute comprehensive asset management strategies that optimise the performance and value of the real estate portfolio, ensuring alignment with company objectives, investment goals, and prevailing market conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead a motivated team of asset management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Establish and implement Asset Management frameworks and processes to ensure consistency of approach, compliance, and best practice execution by the team.
  • Proactively network and source knowledge from outside the organisation to benefit all aspects of Asset Management.
  • Collaborate with other leaders and teams, including transactions, investments, ESG, operations, and finance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in property, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15+ years' experience in property and extensive experience in asset management, with a proven track record of optimising portfolio performance and delivering strong financial results.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and manage teams.
  • Strong understanding of leasing process, capital expenditure, and valuation principles, with the ability to set strategies and resolve complex issues.
