Fund Management Position

The position of Fund Controller will involve supporting and overseeing the day-to-day operations and reporting for private credit/high yield funds. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders, service providers, and third-party administrators to ensure seamless fund operations and timely client deliverables.

  • Review financial statements, accounting packages, and distribution calculations for complex clients.
  • Manage fund launches, working closely with internal teams and administrators/custodians.
  • Produce investor reporting packages, including investment manager's reports and portfolio details reports.
  • Monitor investment activity, review cash flow projections, and manage liquidity requirements.
Main Responsibilities
  • Provide support to investment teams across deal transactions and fund closing processes.
  • Ensure fund operating expenses align with documentation and perform quarterly budget reviews.
  • Produce and review board packs for attendance at board meetings.
  • Analyse performance trends, including IRRs and multiples, at asset and fund levels.
  • Assist team management and resources in the long run, helping train team members and educate internal support teams on fund knowledge and operational processes.
Qualifications
  • A strong accounting background is required.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience in asset management/financial services.
  • Recent and relevant experience covering responsibilities stated above.
  • Prior experience across fund accounting software.
