Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the review, development and negotiation of new commercial arrangements, including the evaluation of commercial risks">
- Collaborating with the Procurement Lead to develop subcontracts that appropriately flow down prime contract requirements">
- Reviewing and drafting commercial documents such as contract amendments, NDAs, R&D and innovation contracts, and inter company agreements">
- Supporting project teams with contract execution, issue resolution and contract close-out at the end of contract performance">
- Promoting a culture of compliance, risk awareness and proactive commercial management">
- Facilitating the commercial review and approval process, escalating to the appropriate delegate as required">
- Advising on approval and execution procedures in line with the company's delegation of authority framework">
- Ensuring document control by managing records and uploading documents to the Contract Management System">
- Providing mentorship and guidance to Commercial Officers to support professional development and capability growth">
Requirements:

- A Bachelor Degree in a commercial field, such as business, accounting or a related field">
- Strong experience gained in managing analysing, developing and negotiating contracts (Defence industry or similar)">
- Relevant experience working in a commercial contracting environment, ideally with experience in both the pre and post-contract award stages">
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across multiple stakeholders">
